Staff very good food excellent buffee desert good idea spa excellent only thing wrong was no bottle opener in room
The shower in room could be better but not an issue
Great location, spa facilities superb especially outdoor pool area and lay-out of complex is well done.
Surprised that no facilities within your room for making a cup of tea/coffee. Slightly surprised that no Sky Sports available within the rooms
It was very comfortable, and the Spa was excellent.
We enjoyed the hotel and its surroundings so much that we were happy to stay around and enjoy the facilities as much as possible which made our weekend even more relaxing. The staff were very helpful at all times without being intrusive and we will definitely return and recomend it to friends. It was worth the extra for a room with a view of the lakes as this was food for the soul. I work in a busy Hospice in Dublin and this hotel was the perfect place to switch off and enjoy some luxury with loved ones.
There was nothing to dislike. My mother was a little disappointed that there was no musical entertainment on Sunday evening.
lake view &the testy of resturant
The location and views are hard to beat!
The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable and neither my husband or I slept well. I moved from the bed to the sleep on the floor but that wasn't too great. We were very disappointed with this as we have been travelling for nearly 8 hours and were looking forward to a good night's sleep - we didn't get this. The check out lady asked how we got on and we did mention that the only probleems were the bed and pillows - she asked if the pillows were hard and we said yes,, but she did not even apologised.
spa and views of lakes and mountains fantastic
a bit pricey for the ordinary punter, one for having a treat, rooms need upgrading to reflect overall hotel impression, no kettle in a fve star hotel room is a bit dated
The only complaint I have is re the pillows. They weer very hard and uncomfortable. I expect in a 5 star hotel there would be a variety of pillows available.
The spa was excellent, very relaxing and the scenery was superb.
The only thing i thought was the price of the restaurant was a little expensive.
Gorgeous hotel, fantastic pool area, lovely staff, glorious location.
Restaurant, for both breakfast and dinner, wasn't really a 5 star experience, although the prices were.
It was absolutely breathtaking in every regard.
Beautiful hotel with simply breathtaking views of Lough Lein and the MaGillycuddy Reeks, particularly from the outdoor vitality pool! The staff were excellent.
Our room was comfortable, but was quite outdated in comparison to other 5 star hotels I have frequented.
The hotel facilities were excellent the restaurants were well run and the rooms were spacious and clean however I do think the rate of 57euros for children sharing the parents room is a little steep
The interior design, the view and the SPA are just magnificent !!
Location, view was out of this world, Staff were really excellent in their professionalism and genuine friendly approach. I got a lovely warm welcome on arrival. Was made to feel like a vip without any snootiness whatsoever, by a highly professional gentleman (Joe on reception) Great customer experience. Luxury all the way. Beautiful spa, robes provided in room for same to make the overall experience a real treat. There was separate lift from our floor down to spa..A Glass lift so one can admire that spectacular view en route down to spa area. Beds lovely, and the breakfast was the best I have ever experienced in any hotel anywhere in the world, Said breakfast was enjoyed in a beautiful dining room where the view made it easy to just sit and relax, could have sat there all day!!
Slippy floors in spa, quite a few little near ones!! Was not alone on that. Prices of spa treatments are bordering on the ridiculous (and I am a therapist myself so I know what I am talking about) No harm either maybe to place a little kettle in the rooms for tea coffee etc, maybe there was one hidden somewhere but we could not find it!
